About Jan Dutton
Ms. Dutton holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School, and completed doctoral coursework in Education (ABD) at North Central University. She served as a percussionist in “The President’s Own” Marine Band, and was on the faculties of George Washington University and Southeastern University. Ms. Dutton is also a retired worship leader, and has helped plant several churches. She currently resides in Plant City, FL with her husband, Chris, who is a talented photographer/videographer; when she is not practicing, performing, or arranging, she can often be found tending her extensive Florida native butterfly garden.
